Product Description

Product Description

Paper Pro professional grade stapler is the perfect solution for high capacity situations. Other high capacity staplers simply give the user a bigger lever with which to power the stapler - the Professional 65™ provides the power for you in a metal desktop design. It staples up to sixty-five sheets of paper with the pressure of just two fingers - that's less force than most staplers require for just 20 sheets.

From the Manufacturer

Professional 65 High-Capacity Stapler fastens up to 65 sheets with just two fingers, requiring less force than most staples need for just 20 sheets. Ideal for high-volume, professional use. Stapler uses PaperPro high-capacity staples.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
I don't like--actually I HATE--heavy duty staplers, because it's nearly impossible to use them correctly without munching the big fat staples (which are impossible to pull back out). That's the bias that I carry with me when I look at this stapler.

Facts:

1) I am an idiot.
2) This stapler works for me.

Conclusion:

THIS STAPLER IS IDIOT-PROOF!!!

I haven't had one misfire yet. I like the fact that it uses staples that are longer, but not fatter. It makes the document look "normal".

I use this stapler a couple of times a day for documents that are 31-65 sheets thick (61 to 130 pages printed double-sided) with no trouble. My printer automatically staples documents up to 60 pages (30 sheets). Until I bought this stapler, I had to use binder clips for anything thicker. This stapler solved that annoyance for me: no more binder clips.

If you're not familiar with the PaperPro staplers, these staplers have a spring mechanism that hammers the staple for you. You press the top with your fingertips and the mechanism pulls the trigger to fire the staple through the pages. I've tried it on thicker documents (up to 90 sheets) and the stapler was strong enough to punch the staple through the pages, but the staples aren't long enough to actually fasten the document. It's still pretty cool though.

This stapler has made me a happier man. (I'm easily pleased.)

Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
OK, pardon me for starting off with the classic line from Office Space, but it was hard to resist. I'm a geek, into technology on so many levels, but staplers and I just don't get along. This PaperPro 1210 Professional 65 Sheet Stapler is different: it works, and does it well.

Received this through Vine, and when I opened the box found it encased there in a plastic clamshell package was my new PaperPro 1210 stapler. I opened the clamshell without tools and read the manual, which is also in Spanish, French, German and Italian, for those who need to know. It's all simple and very straightforward, and when I loaded the staples, found a small white cardboard insert that said: "Remove insert before stapling." There were two boxes of 500 staples, so I tried the 25/8 staples first (for 30 sheets, inserting the strip into the stapler. Grabbing a stack from last Sunday's newspaper, I guessed that it might be about 30+ sheets, and gave it a shot... and it worked, perfectly. Gave it a few more trial runs with the 25/8 staples, which have a 3/8" leg length, and it worked perfectly each time. Next I tried the 25/10 staples (for 65 sheets) and attacked a thicker stack of papers, and again it performed flawlessly.

Now it was time to get serious. Took a 47-page document from the laser printer, which had been printed on 20 lb. letter size paper, and added three more sheets for an even fifty. The stapler again worked impeccably.

Impressions:

From the minute that I unpacked the PaperPro 1210, I felt that I had a quality product in my hands. The pressure to staple 50+ pages is much lighter that one would expect due to its spring-loaded mechanism.

Review for: Accentra PaperPro 1210 65 Sheet Stapler

OVERVIEW:
-----------

This stapler makes stapling roughly 20-60/65 sheets VERY EASY.

You CANNOT USE THIS FOR SMALL SHEET STACKS as staples will pop right back up through the front (see below for tested minimum sheet counts). Thus, this can't replace the common desk stapler. Also, testing below shows the 5/16" staple flexibility is itself very limited and thus does not resolve this.

The result has the staple END POINTS POINTING TO EACH OTHER, not all of the high capacity staplers do. It's a preference thing that you may or may not care about, both staple styles function well.

Look wise it is small enough not to look out of place on a desktop, although it is certainly larger than the usual desktop stapler. It is a bit loud at all sheet counts, if you staple a lot those around you might prefer you do so elsewhere.

VERSUS SWINGLINE OPTIMA 70 STAPLER:
---------------------------------------

Two high capacity 70ish sheet staplers:

- The PaperPro STAPLES roughly 20-60/65 SHEETS well with 3/8" staples (see below). By comparison the Swingline Optima 70 STAPLES 2-68/70 SHEETS well with 3/8" staples. With the Swingline there is no need to guess if you have minimum sheet count to staple well.

- The PaperPro staple end tips end up pointing at each other. The Swingline staple end tips end up parallel and diagonal to each other. It's a preference thing, they do the same thing either way.

- The Swingline Optima 70 doesn't also allow standard 5/16" staples, the PaperPro does, though the value of that appears limited (See testing).

I bought this item last year from Amazon. It has had VERY LIGHT use in my home office. I've never tried to staple 65 sheets of paper, which is what it's rated for. More like 20 sheets maximum, and not very many times. It worked well about two-thirds of the time, until today, when it completely stopped working. This was a pricey item, a splurge, which I bought thinking it would last forever. Very disappointed.
