This book has all the essentials. You can rock Neil and totally get the FEEL. I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!

This is a great book for learning Neil Diamond songs on guitar. Also great for having all the lyrics handy. I bought this book because it's hard to find accurate guitar tabs for his songs and he is a great artist and songwriter. He has some really great chord progressions in some songs which inspire me to make up my own songs.

If you want to a songwriter and/or want to learn some chord progressions beyond the 3, 4, or 5 chord format, this is a really good book to purchase.

I thought it would be Neil singing but the quality and the songs should be heard.

I was really disappointed to see no musical notes for Neil Diamonds lead singing. All there is are the lyrics and you have to remember Neal's melody. In other words you have to remember every note Diamond sings. Also the grid chords are only shown at the beginning up above the song. You have to remember them as only the chord name is above the lyrics. NOT FOR A NOVICE GUITARIST. I hope this helps you so you don't have to return the songbook like I did.

Item came in perfect condition as stated online. Will definitely use this method of purchasing again.

I have to be totally honest and say I was extremely disappointed when I received this item. I had no idea it was a guitar handbook. I should have read further. I don't play guitar. I thought it was another biography.
