Worth it Definitely,

When I first heard Kittie on the radio, I thought that they were cool, but not that great. But when Kittie came out with the Paperdoll Remix, I fell in love with it. This cd only has 6 songs and the other 5 are all live, but its really really good. I'd say they sound even better than on "Spit." As a matter of fact, its like they took the best songs off of "Spit" and put them all together on the Paperdoll Ep...

If you were an avid fan of Spit as I was, then you will love this EP from Canadas finest. On this disc is a remix of Paperdoll, made heavier. The riffs and drumming are amazing here, and its much faster than the original. Also herein are five live songs, which are also on the Spit In Your Eye home vid ( a must have also!). These gals really tear it up live ( Ive seen them once, and Im begging them to return again), as these tracks show you. Mercedes is amazing on her kit as always, and the rest of this equally talented band continues to shine. My only complaint is the length of 19 mins, but hell, its Kittie, I can live with it. Keep an eye out for their new album, rumored to be due out sometime this spring. Its expected to be a lot more complex vocally and riff wise, so its definitely gonna be another winner. Peace out!

Kittie rocks!,

I love rock. It kicks some serious butt. But it's becoming really hard to find a band that really has it and isn't generic. Kittie has a combination of metal and evil glare kind of lyrics. The guitars and the drums don't become overpowering like most rock bands that play rock just for the sake of playing it. Kittie's pretty original. It really takes some guts to be a girl band among guys in leather jackets who think you're not going to make it.
