Book Description

Organize Your Life and Home

Never lose a list again!
Keep track of everything in one place!
Put your gadgets to good use!

Best of all, this book shows you how to get organized using only free, web-based applications that sync with free apps on both Apple and Android devices.

Your home management "binder" will be digital, will take up no extra space no matter how much you add to it, will work on every platform, and will require no further investment in apps or programs.
Take advantage of your smartphone or iPad! Put it to good use: organizing your life.

What the digital home management system lacks in crafty cuteness, it makes up for in accessibility and versatility. The digital version is actually the frugal option if you already have the tools. If you have a smartphone, a tablet, or a laptop, why also keep heavy, clumsy paper binders?

So don't let your gadgets go to waste; use them to make your life simpler.

I came across this book at just the right time, as I've recently been considering changing my planner/binder system to a paperless one and wasn't sure how to go about doing it. I've read the whole thing and am eager to implement her well thought out program. I love the tips she provides for using her applications of choice more effectively. In fact, I would have paid twice the price of this book just to learn the tips she gives about managing Gmail. Wow ... that part was so very helpful.

If you want to convert to a paperless organizational system, this will give you a detailed and step-by-step way to do it. It's geared particularly toward stay-at-home moms like me, but I think anyone could adapt these strategies effectively.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Guide! November 13, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book was exactly what I was searching for, a guide to setting up a paperless home management system. I am a stay-at-home mom with a desire and rely heavily on my home management binder. I have an iPad mini and iPhone that I carry with me everywhere. This book gives step-by-step instructions on taking the plunge to a paperless system. I have everything I need always at my fingertips without the bulk of my binder. I highly recommend this book as a starting point to anyone who wants to move to a paperless home management system.

The book relies on three apps or programs - Remember the Milk, Evernote, and G-mail. I particularly liked the instructions on Evernote which can be quite overwhelming without help.

If you already have a home management system in place than I highly recommend this book as a guide to going paperless!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Tool October 11, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Although a little wordy, this book is great for the technologically savvy and even those who just enjoy seeing LESS paper floating around their house. It will take time and effort to set up the process and get things running smoothly, but you will be relieved once you do! The process that Mystie describes is easy to use and maintain and also easy to personalize.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very practical September 15, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Love this book. I've been implementing it gradually. So many times, attempts to get organized are just too labor intensive to succeed. I also love that her system does not rely on a smart phone with a data package.

5.0 out of 5 stars The only one of its kind May 2, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I purchased this eBook after looking many times and over a few years for help organizing my home via Evernote. I've read several others that are somewhat of this same idea, but I found much more useful & real-life applications here than in any other product. I loved the combination of GTD & Evernote specifically geared toward home management. I'm not totally done implementing everything that is recommended, but so far I love the new sense of organization & productivity! After trying to 'tweak' Mystie's system for some of my own needs & reading other Evernote ebooks, I decided to just implement it almost exactly as she has set out. Overall, though, it is amazingly applicable & useful exactly as-is. The specific information about becoming more productive with my email and the gMail tips and tricks provided have totally altered my email Inbox - in a GREAT way! I'm still getting used to using RTM & Evernote, but think long-term I will love this system. It was just what I needed to take the plunge and get GTD better implemented in my life. I plan to continue to refine & improve the system for my life circumstances. I did reach out to Mystie with a few specific circumstance questions and she was very responsive & helpful. If you are committed to moving toward a paperless GTD system (and you are a homemaker), then I think this information is off huge value! I am not a blogger, but there are also examples in the ebook of how to use Evernote to organize your blogging, as well.
