Great Book! Highly Recommended, January 12, 2010
This review is from: Paperless: Real-World Solutions with Adobe Technology (Paperback)
I have been investigating Adobe Acrobat 9 and dynamic PDF forms for my company's needs. This book has a great deal of practical information about Acrobat 9 and I have already put some of the tips to work (certified PDF's, digital signatures). I also enjoyed the case studies. If you are looking for a practical book that covers a broad range of Adobe technology, you will find Paperless worthwhile.

Very helpful and great read, January 12, 2010
This review is from: Paperless: Real-World Solutions with Adobe Technology (Paperback)
Moving into the new decade I have been looking for technologies to create more efficient paperless processes. I always knew that Adobe had many products that would facilitate my efforts, but I wasn't aware of all of the possibilities until I read this book. I was even more surprised to learn how easy and fast many of the practices were to implement. I have been using a lot of the Acrobat solutions in my day-to-day work and I am very interested to learn more about what LiveCycle has to offer. Great read, and I definitely recommend it to anyone interested in great and efficient ways to become more Paperless.

Very helpful, worth reading, June 17, 2010
This review is from: Paperless: Real-World Solutions with Adobe Technology (Paperback)
I'm in the process of assessing the feasibility and cost of going "paperless" (the simple, one-word term that actually means "using much less paper - not getting rid of it"!) This book helped me consider some of the components that need to be addressed and how we might address them. The case studies were very useful. As with any material about a "paperless" office -particularly where Adobe Acrobat plays a large part - a good portion is devoted to forms and data collection, which is only of marginal importance in my case. I still found it very informative, nonetheless.
Case-in-point, I'm selling my hard copy of the book but keeping the e-book because I know I'll return to it again!

Excellent Step By Step to a Paperless Workplace, January 26, 2010
This review is from: Paperless: Real-World Solutions with Adobe Technology (Paperback)
J.P. Terry has done it again! With the exception of his book on Livecycle, this book is one of the few, if not the only, that clearly makes the case for how the paperless process can streamline business practices; ensure efficient, secure, and accurate collection of data; and reduce the bottom line. Even more helpful is the fact that Terry outlines the latest, most cutting edge technologies that Adobe offers to facilitate the conversion to a paperless environment and then, in absolutely thorough fashion, even gives practice lessons AND files, to help the reader learn, first-hand, how easily the technology discussed can be implemented in their paperless conversion. As an instructor who teaches a wide range of clients how to use Adobe software products to further business initiatives and as the owner of a company that helps clients to go paperless, I find this book personally and professionally useful and recommend it to anyone who wants to learn how to make the transition to a paperless environment. This book provides all of the information that you need to make the decision on which software and process is right for you in your conversion decision(s).
