I love these foundation papers. I have used them many times in the past, and was delighted to see them on Amazon. They arrived in a timely manner, and in good shape. Thanks once again for a wonderful product and great service!! Dawn

Just as Carol Doak (who I adore) has foundation paper which is just plain newsprint, this is just light quality copy paper. You decide.

I have been addicted to Foundation Paper Piecing for about a year now. I have made several baby quilts and a few mini quilts using this technique. I love these papers. They work well on my home printer. I did have problems with them jamming in a photo copier at Office Depot when I was trying to enlarge a pattern. The employee was able to adjust the setting so they would no longer jam. Tears well from the fabric.

I bought this to compare it with the papers I use for the foundation patterns that I design. While I see that this paper would be better than actual copy paper for this use, it is not the correct product for foundation piecing. When foundation piecing, it is important that you be able to see through the paper to the lines on the other side. This paper is much too opaque for that, and lines are hard to see, even with a strong light glowing! I will stick with the paper I already use.
