This company provides zero customer satisfaction.

I always buy my wife an amaryllis bulb for Christmas, and have been doing so for almost 25 years. This year I ordered one from ETGB. Weeks later I was still seeing no signs of life. I emailed the company and asked for a replacement. I got a letter back hinting that I was watering it improperly, or that I had not planted it in a timely manner, or that I was just being impatient. One month later the bulb is either dormant or dead, and further requests for a replacement were met with the equivalent of, "Sorry, tough luck."

My wife is an experienced gardener and has never had a failed amaryllis bulb before. Therefore, I recommend that you only order from ETGB if you won't be needing them to make good if your bulbs are bad--because they won't.

5.0 out of 5 stars fragrant and fun, November 27, 2011

I love paperwhites because they are fragrant. I once heard that they are the official flower for December. I grow them almost every year.

5.0 out of 5 stars ultimate flowers, November 16, 2011

By paying a little extra you get the best quality bulbs. They have more flowers than the littler cheaper bulbs. They're the ultimate houseplant--fragrant, easy to grow, you can take care of them for a month or two and then throw them out, sorta like a super long lasting bouquet.

4.0 out of 5 stars A very floriferous variety, huge healthy bulbs, but too fragrant, July 5, 2009

HUGE bulbs! I was going to buy ten plastic pots grow three of them in each of those. I was talked into the four inch pots at the garden center. Big mistake. I could only fit two in each...found one more four inch pot and had eight bulbs leftover (I bought a ten pack in addition to the twenty pack). The eight bulbs went into a ten inch pot and barely fit. I gave these as gifts, and about half the recipients said they smelled too strong. One told me outright that they gave her a headace. But everyone agreed that they were gorgeous.
Side note: When I gave them to my friend Mary Ann, her college-age son (a horticulture major) was really excited and took great care of them for his mom, he's going to try to get them to bloom again. They are very difficult to rebloom, so I wouldn't reccommend trying unless you know a lot about plants (like at horticulturist level).

The bulbs arrived just fine (although they took longer than expected) but not a single one of them bloomed. Very disappointing, and now I have a box full of moldy bulbs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Indoor garden, February 12, 2012
This review is from: Paperwhites ~ FRAGRANT ~ 20 bulbs ~ 17+cm (largest commercially available)
Once these bulbs arrive you will soon have an indoor garden on you hands. Be patient the growth is slow for the first week but picks up after about 10 days.
