I an thrilled that we can now buy Birkenstocks (under the Papillo line) that look good enough to wear to work (at least in my job in a busy office!). It has the classic comfort of the extremely comfortable Birk footbed & a great look. It will take a few wearings to break in the straps - this is not your mom's Birk - but it is worth it. Wear it for a few hours each time & you'll be fine! Plus, I bought it here on SALE!! Yay! The brown leather has a wonderful etched design on it. Classy AND comfortable, true to size. Birk hit a home run with these!

Finally a pair of Birkenstock sandals that doesn't look "chunky"! They fit perfectly and wearing them is like walking on clouds, the straps were a little tight at first but it didn't take long to break them in. I love these sandals, they look great and feel great.

Very stylish Birks! Straps are a bit stiff, but I didn't have any problems with breaking them in.

I have been wearing Birkenstocks since the 70's. I am not a person that can wear heals, so for the summer it is nice to wear a pair of sandals that I can wear to work and wear with my casual clothes. I love the look and they are very comfortable!

I own quite a few Birkenstocks, and their other brands including papillio. These are nice shoes, slightly wider then the regular width. Arch support not as prominent as regular Birks, but very comfortable, and I like the more feminine strappy look. This brand should have more feminine designs in their line, it would appeal to lots of women. Some strapes are a little loose, but that allows for swelling of foot. Stay with your regular size in Birkenstock and you will be fine.

Really love these shoes. They feel like I am wearing nothing, and give great arch support. Wish they came in more colors.

I bought the Indio Brown Salamanca Birkenstocks because I love my black Gizeh Birkenstocks so much. I haven't quite broken these in yet, but even so they are more comfortable than most other shoes.

This shoe is so comfortable that I wish I could wear it all year round. I have many, many, many Birkenstocks but this are by far my favorite.

I've been using Birkenstock-Birkis-Papillio for 2 decades now and i can say that all the sandals from this brands will make your soles/sides/heel or even skin (especially for leather strap without cushions) hurt or feel sore but after 2-4 uses it will be your most comfortable and Go-to sandals. Also please note that it is because the sandals is "molding" into the arch and shape of your feet--I am a flatfooted person and so is my husband and our daughter too. Please note too that the soles also get kinda dirty looking and develop a funny smell in the long run because of your feet's sweat.

My husband cooks for a living and for 7 years he have endured wearing the wooden clogs in the kitchen but for the last 3 years he have been wearing the boston super grip and he is more than happy with the switch.

Also my daughter who is turning 3 have been using the tuvalu sandals and it did cause some blister on the side of her feet(by the arch)in the beginning but what i did was i just rested her feet from wearing the sandals for a day or and made sure i pressed on the blister right on when it was starting to form and sprayed neosporin and soaked her in a warm bath and made sure i sprayed neosporin again after bath and moisturized her feet really well.

I couldn't wait to add this Birkenstock style to my collection. And sad to say, this shoe was a great disappointment. The thin straps capture your toes on the side and the big toe strap is hard and rough and even after wearing for a week they were beautiful, but uncomfortable. I would not recommend this style unless you try it on in the store and are allowed to return if you're not satisfied.
