We are big fans of the Papo dinos and the growing collection. They are the most realistic, zoologically-researched miniatures on the market. The Pterosaur is without equal, especially the subtle coloring. I don't know how they produce them for the price. They are made of vinyl which makes them virtually unbreakable. They are made to be played with, but I occasionally steal one and place him on my consulting room bookshelf. They are the best. And we look forward to each new addition to the line. Something I can share with my kids--a toy for kids, but with the realism that I appreciate.

I bought this toy expecting a 10" x 5.4" toy... as advertised. It is actually 9" (from wing point to wing point) x 3.5". I specifically looked at the size of the toy before purchasing and definitely thought I was buying a larger dinosaur. My daughter has a bunch of smaller dinosaurs that cost very little... and this one will just get mixed in with the cheapy ones. I doubt it will be anything memorable for her this Christmas, but we shall see. Now, after seeing it in person, it is worth $2 in my opinion.

my 4 yr old is in LOVE with Pteredactyls and I searched all over for a toy for her and finally found this one thinking she could use it with her other dinosaur toys. I thought it was alittle high especially when including the $9 in shipping but spent it anyway then I received it (very quickly) and it is TINY!! I definately would NOT have spent nearly $20 on such a little toy. I was very disappointed in the size of it but I'm sure she will still like it and play with it. just be forwarned that it is only about 2 1/2 inches tall the measurments provided lead me to believe that it would be much bigger!!! otherwise it is exactly what it looks like!!

The color and detail of these Papo offerings is simply incredible; one would suspect that such detailed craftsmanship would cost much, much more!

I was totally blown away yesterday when I'd removed the three dinosaurs from the box ( T-Rex, Triceratops and Pteranodon). Each replica has a substantial weight to it, and the texture and coloring actually have to be seen in person to fully understand what went into the making of these creatures. If you're into dinosaurs, you'll love having these in your collection.

this item is way to small- a kid could very easily damage it. If it had been larger, I would reccomended it.

We love this dino! It looks awesome! I have to say that all Papo Dinosaurs have really impressed me. I have seen many different prices for it. I would wait until you see it for around six dollars. No need to pay more than that, so right now over priced on amazon. For six bucks its a great buy!

These Papo dinosaurs are by far the best dinosaur toy/sculpts I've ever bought. I'm an artist by trade and the quality of each toy blows me away. Very detailed sculpts, wrinkles, scales and skin stretching are all visible. The paint job is always extremely well done. It seems to be a combination of ink wash, dry brush and airbrushing where needed. The small scale detail really pops when given this paint treatment. The toys are made of a very durable plastic, but you might not want to be rough with them because there are some very thin areas on a few dinos. Arms and fingers of the theropods could break off. Hasn't happened to any of mine yet and my kids play with them, but not harshly.

I'm going to be duplicating this review for all of the papo dinos that look really good.

This is a wonderful Pteranodon. Papo figures are exquisitely hand painted and relatively lifelike. Although this is a small figure, I believe it to be the most realistic of all the versions I have seen. Contrary to a previous review I believe that there is value in this meticulously, hand painted figure ( I did however pay less than said reviewer). It is a personal favorite in my dino. collection.

The item is a cheap rubber toy. I'd expect for 12 dollars it was ceramic or something. This item is worth $1.99 it is not unique, it is smaller than expected. Not impressed.
