How cool can you get?! I am such a fan of the Papo dinosaurs, I can't even begin to say. I have nothing but praise for these remarkable dino reproductions!! The 2008 addition to the Papo dino line is this very cool Allosaurus - who looks like he's sneaking up on a tasty treat of some kind...great, vicious pose. The '08 Allosaurus is Papo's first dinosaur that isn't based directly on the dino designs from the Jurassic Park movies, and it's really a fantastic rendering. I love the spikes along the spine, and the rough skin and neat coloring. I hope they have a new addition for their line each year - this Allosaurus is just wicked! You cannot go wrong with the Papo dinos. There are no better dinosaur toys available. Papos are quite simply the very best, hands down!!

Just purchased this item. This is the most accurate Allosaurus replica available short of an expensive museum statuete. Papo has done it again.

These Papo dinosaurs are by far the best dinosaur toy/sculpts I've ever bought. I'm an artist by trade and the quality of each toy blows me away. Very detailed sculpts, wrinkles, scales and skin stretching are all visible. The paint job is always extremely well done. It seems to be a combination of ink wash, dry brush and airbrushing where needed. The small scale detail really pops when given this paint treatment. The toys are made of a very durable plastic, but you might not want to be rough with them because there are some very thin areas on a few dinos. Arms and fingers of the theropods could break off. Hasn't happened to any of mine yet and my kids play with them, but not harshly.

I'm going to be duplicating this review for all of the papo dinos that look really good.

I just got my Papo allosaurus, wow! My favorite dinosaur is Allosaurus and finally, i came across this Papo Allosaurus, its so realistic, i dont normally buy things online, but when I saw this I had to get it. It describes Allosaurus so acuratley, its VERY detailed and so beautiful im going to buy more of Papo's dinos. They're not necessarily [JUST] toys, these are very educational, and they are for ALL ages. It looks even better than I thought. The Papo allosaurus is(in my opinion) the best and most beautiful dinosaur toy for sale, and its worth every penny!

this Dino is sooooo awesome. His mouth even opens and his inside mouth looks real. They did a very good gob.

The head fell off during vigorous combat. We discovered that the various parts are merely pressure-fitted together. So far we haven't been able to find the right glue to stick the parts back together--I have no idea what material the thing is made of. A shame, because it is fantastic-looking.

Like I said, "PAPO" Never Fails. Their dinosaur products are awesome, very vivid in detail and just perfect to have around the house for any occasion.

This is my first PAPO figure, I Love it! So detailed so alive! Can't wait to get my second PAPO figure.

Though its only about half the size of the T rex and spino, this critter still has plenty of character! I loved the spines lining its back, but the jaws are bit difficult to open. Otherwise great!

This is absolutely one of the best representations of the Allosaurus ever to be made. With great attention to detail and affording the figure with the option to open or close the mouth, makes this a wonderful piece for display purposes. I would recommend this A+ figurine for scientific museum quality purposes.
