i must admit that i had never heard paquita la del barrio until about 2 years ago when i saw a drag queen perform one of her songs. i was smitten from then on. she's amazing! her songs are great, and as a gay man i highly identify w/ them. plus i love "me saludas a la tuya". ¡arriba paquita!

I like Paquita la del Barrio becuase she expresses the way she feels about the machos!!!

Paquita sings from the heart. If your having a bad time with your're loved one, just put in some Paquita and you'll forget him in a minute.

SHE IS ONE OF THE GREATEST ARTIST WITH MARIACHI THAT JUST GOT ONE MORE FAN I WILL BE LOOKING FOR ANY CD SHE HAS OUT. SHE BRINGS OUT FEELINGS AND MEMORIES OF THINGS IN LIFE

Paqita's songs are well known for her aproach to macho issues. Never offensive and always objective about what a woman wants from a man: respect.

It's an excellent cd, I highly recommend it to evetyboy who listen's to paquitas song's she can really make us cry with this song's.

I have been a fan of Mexican music since childhood, and I have a large collection of Latin CD's. This is definitely an outstanding recording in my collection.

The quality of the recording is excellent. The sound is crisp, with no background noise. Paquita has an exquisite and clear voice with a lot of depth. This recording is accompanied by Mariachi music. There are songs in the Ranchera style on the album.

The lyrics are thoughtful and well crafted. The songs deal with lost or betrayed love. I believe that most of us can identify with this theme. The recording provides a great way to relax after work. This recording goes well with Tequila ;). I rate this recording at five tequila shots. Excellent value for the money spent.

I HAVE NOT HEARD THIS CD, BUT I HAVE HEARD SOME OF HER CAREER. I WAS NOT INTO HER ALOT BUT SHE SINGS REALLY NICE, SOME OF THE SONGS REALLY GET YOU. I DO HAVE A FEW FAVORITES. ME AND MY MOTHER QUITE LIKE HER. SHE IS ONE OF THE BEST.....SHE IS A GOOD ARTIST ABOVE ALL.
