For years it was a pain in the XYZ to get Rx swim goggles. I had an old and scratchy pair of speedos that finally broke. Parmel works just as advertised - you enter your prescription in the special drop down box, and Parmel gets the order and special-fills it for you.

The goggles arrived (from Canada) in a few days. They come in a nice hard plastic casing and the goggles themselves seem high quality. For me, the anti-fog coating is amazing (at least, the first week - don't know if the antifog effect lasts indefinitely.) I have no leakage problems but I am an amateur - puttering in pools with kids. if you have high nearsightedness (like -4, -6, -8) and have never tried these, you'll probably be very very glad you did. HINT - you can go a half step or a step less than your real prescription and it's still a huge improvement [for swimming] over nothing. You don't want to go more than your Rx strength, it is very unpleasant and straining. Example, if you are -6.5, -6 will be fine for swimming.

The tint on these Parmel goggles offer a sufficient dark tint to make sunny outdoor swims pleasant. The head strap is solid and the eye seal is good. The lens quality offers a clear and good correction level.

Thank you so much, the goggles arrived on the 18th in good order and are absolutely fantastic. I really needed them in the hot Iraqi sun. They are so comfortable with no fogging and leakage and for the first time ever I have seen the bottom of a swimming pool I am absolutely delighted with them.

The goggles worked fine twice, but then the rubber lining around one of the plastic prescription lens peeled off. After that, the goggles leaked and were unusable. I called customer service, and they said that they would replace the goggles (but that I would have to pay for shipping and handling). The second pair of googles arrived. After 2 uses, the rubber seal around the lens peeled off AGAIN. In addition, a plastic part that connects the strap to the lends snapped apart. Please do not buy this product if you want to wear them more than twice.

I wore these goggles for the first time yesterday. It is really nice to see in the water again! I used the medium nose bridge, but the nice thing is it comes with different sizes you can interchange. The googles have a nice, comfortable tight fit, and the straps are easily adjustable. I accidentally dropped it by the pool after swimming, but nothing happened to the lens. I had called my optometrist to get the closest diopter measurements, and he was impressed that they provide separate right and left eye options. With that information, I was able to get as close to my prescription as possible, and I can see really well in the water.

These goggles are OK.

They offer different prescriptions for each eye, which is what I was looking for.

I had a lot of trouble switching out the nosebridge on them and ended up wrecking the nosebridge I was trying to replace. The company was not very helpful when I contacted them about it. I finally did replace the nosebridge and achieved an OK fit, but now after about a year, the goggles keep coming apart at the nosebridge- not very pleasant while you're swimming.

The quality of the lens offers a very clear and good correction level. The strap is solid and the eye seal, and anti-fog are all good.

But unfortunately, The one I got is NOT tinted lens as it should be and as I expected. the delivery price is a little higher.

All in all, it's worthy to own for my daily swimming.

Excellent product, I am very happy with my purchase. Since I had purchased ParMel's caps before and liked their service and quality of their products I tried their optical goggles and it's awesome. First of all the separate prescription for each eye is an amazing option and the quality of Lens and tight water seal is great. I am absolutely pleased with my goggle.

I love these goggles because they fit really well. I can swim for 45 min without a single adjustment, no leaks, no fogging! This is my second pair - the old ones were stolen by a very big wave - probably still swimming up and down the Atlantic coast, alas, without me.ParMel Optical Swim Goggles
