Hoogewind presents a concise yet challenging overview of ministry to the disabled, with an encouraging forward by J.E. Tada. The book is equally well-suited as an individual read or as a small group study, with reflection questions at the end of each chapter. Each chapter "parable" introduces the reader to an individual with a disability, and initiates discussion to get the reader thinking about potential ministry opportunites and areas for growth.I highly recommend Hoogewind's book for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of the potential complexities of ministry to the disabled.
