This review is from: The Parables of Kryon (Hardcover)
I have re-told these parables countless times to friends, children, people in pain and so on. The spiritual & psychological insights are wonderful and important. The parables read quickly and the messages are very easily grasped. I would recommend it to anyone.

This review is from: The Parables of Kryon (Paperback)
Kryon is a loving entity currently on earth to help us move into the next phase of a new era. These parables are stories told by Kryon and translated by Lee Carroll to show how many persons are reacting to special circumstances as we move deeper into this century and begin to receive the new gifts of God. You will not find the negativity or cynicism of some channeled entities, and no hard lessons here. This is truly an inspired and inspiring book helping you discover how to come closer to the Great Reality, which seems to some to be a fairy tale like "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz." I hope you have an opportunity to read and share this book with those you love.

Kryon helped save my life about seven years ago. I was in a very unhealthy abusive marriage, very negative and angry, and just flat-out wanted to die. I somehow was blessed with finding a Kryon article in Sedona Journal of Emergence and His words inspired me to change my life 500% for the better. This is an excellent book to start with if you are unfamiliar with Kryon. He gives very relative examples of how we "make ourselves" unhappy living the monotony in our everyday lives, and he gives very easy-to-follow directions on how to be loving and happy, therefore leading others to love and happiness by mere example. EVERYONE SHOULD READ THIS!!!

This book is wonderful. It is not the first Kryon book, but I would recommended to anyone first than the others. It is an introduction to the overall Kryon message and it is just easy to read, and leaves you completely satisfied. You can relate to the stories and put then to practice easily. Highly recommended for anyone on the path to their own self ascension and our planet's and univeese!

Care bear stories for the new age,
This review is from: The Parables of Kryon (Paperback)
~Your karmic colors are added to your essence for all to see and honor for all time~. The care bear imagery gave me a hearty laugh.
The book contains a dozen or so unrelated stories that are intended to inspire and enlighten the reader. I found most of the parables quite inspiring, but as a jaded new age reader of 20 years, I found very little in the way of new ideas to ponder. Overall the book is a bit preachy in it's tone, but it tends to preach up to you rather than down to you. As such it comes off like a children's book, but some of the stories are really not appropriate for young children. Some of the parables have very little in the way of story, and the message conveyed seemed trivially obvious. "The Bridge" in particular shows that even entities from another plane can be subject to writers block. Some of the stories moved me deeply, and overall I enjoyed the book. As an inspirational tool to raise your energy, I would recommend the cassette or mp3 version instead of the printed book. At the time of this writing the mp3 is available for free on the Kryon website. Entertainment: 2 stars Enlightenment: 4 stars Inspiration: 5 stars Overall: 4 stars

Lessons for the Spiritual Explorer,

This review is from: The Parables of Kryon (Kindle Edition)
"The Parables of Kryon" by Lee Carroll was first published in 1996. At that time I was living in Oklahoma, the buckle of the Bible Belt, basically a galaxy away from Del Mar, CA where Mr. Carroll was at the forefront of the New Age movement. The Kryon material is channeled information, which in many circles still has the connotation of being straight from the Devil's Lair. I've found channeled material to run the gamut from the ridiculous ("greetings, Earthlings") to life changing ("A Course in Miracles").
Since acquiring a Kindle, I enjoy exploring all the spiritual book lists seeking the rare gem, the classic I missed along the way. I'd vaguely heard of Lee Carroll and Kryon, even in the insulated heartland, and decided to risk perdition by downloading "The Parables of Kryon." What I discovered was a delightful collection of twenty deceptively "simple" stories rich with profound life lessons. Just as Jesus taught the villagers of his day through tales like The Prodigal Son, The Sower of Seeds, and The Good Samaritan, Kryon shares his philosophy via the storytelling tool. The book begins with the brief "Parable of the Tar Pit" where everyone thinks being covered in tar is normal until one person is suddenly washed clean. Carroll serves as interpreter of the Kryon tales he receives, spelling out the spiritual lesson in case you missed it. Disciples can be a little dense, as Jesus learned when he had to explain the Sower of the Seeds analogy to his followers. Likewise, Carroll makes clear the philosophical lessons behind "The Big, Fuzzy Caterpillar" (a wormy creature who misses the chance to become a butterfly), "The Two Groups of Warriors" (reminiscent of putting on the whole armor of God in Ephesians), "David the Indian" (who breaks through foggy boundaries) and the rest with summaries at the end of each story. I found myself reading one parable a morning, like a daily devotional, ruminating on the spiritual lessons, sometimes agreeing, sometimes not, but each story was always food for thought. The piece stands as a sort of spiritual movement historical marker, using phrases like "New Age" and "life contract" that were once new and have now taken on a lot of baggage. The order of the stories starts with universal life lessons that would not rock many boats to increasingly New Age concepts of reincarnation and karmic principles that would definitely send mainstream Christians back behind their fences. Still, for those spiritual explorers who enjoyed hearing Bible stories in Sunday school, "The Parables of Kryon" delivers some interesting concepts in a variety of entertaining tales. This is the 2nd Kryon book I have had the pleasure to experience fully. The first one was "Partnering With God". From it's very deep uplifting spiritual reasuring message I immediately purchased all 11 books, for it opened up the mysteries of my soul and explained clearly our purpose on treading the sands of the Earth. This wonderful book on parables is consise, to the point, easy to read but oh so deep in it's complexity and the overriding presence of love in all of it's internal messages. I know in my heart they are true and the the love from spirit is no different then the love that we all feel when we graduate from our time on earth into the realm of spirit. This simple book will change the life of everyone who reads it if they choose to allow it. Kudos to Kryon and to Lee for all of his sacrafice in allowing these beautiful mesages to be so. What a beautiful world this will be when we allow the showing of this same love to all of our neighbors.
