About the Author
Author Edythe Abell was inspired many years ago to write a story about bullying. She was a victim of severe bullying in school and remembers all too well her desires to quit school, run away, dissappear, and even die to get a way from it. Bullying is a very serious issue that knows no geographical or demographical area, no age, nor sex. Two of her three sons had severe speech delays, which inspired her to write childrens storys with a repetition of hard to sound consonants. This story Parables by a Pair of Bulls is written with enough B's to practice to make perfect. It is her hopes that parents will have fun explaining the definitions, because it will also encourage more quality reading time with thier child/ren. Don't be afraid to teach your child to get out a dictionary and have them follow along searching the words...And don't let that stop you from enjoying reading the book, over and over until the definitions are understood and your child has increased his/her vocabulary! Have fun with it. Enjoy the little hidden meanings in the pictures as well. She has written 7 childrens books with wholesome messages and repetition of consonants, rhyming, and fun pictures that tell the story as much as the words do. Her greatest inspiration is children. She loves children of all ages and has learned so much from their innocence and inquiries. Children inspire her. She truly believes children are gifts from heaven! She believes every child should be treated as if their angels watching over them are constantly reporting to the God of Heaven and Earth their every move and every hand that touches them!
