  • Perfect Gift! For Crafts or Camping. Paracord is a vesitile product with many uses... Many people use it to make bracelets, belts, hammocks... Perfect for the Home, Garden, Tool shed, Garage... What will you use it for?
  • NOTE* It's science! A few customers have complained about fewer inner strands...What determines the breaking strength of a cord is the TENSILE strength of the inner strands not how many there are. Some 550 and 750 paracords may offer 11 or more inner strands but they are of a smaller diameter or lesser tensile strength. Even 5 big fat strands may be weaker than 1 strong slim one. These are the average diameters and Ultimate Tensile Strength of the three paracords: 550 1/8" - 5/32" UTS=556lb. 750 9/64"-11/64" 757lb. 850 5/32"-3/16" 856lb. We know 99.9% of you understand. Much stronger than other brands I have tried.

I love the versatile nature of paracord - it is light/thin enough to have thousands of uses, yet its strength exceeds that of any rope.
Stephen Winkel
It's a great tool to have in the back of the car, when camping, or around the house.

I've used various types of paracord for years--Everything from the cheap junk to fairly nice. But this beats them all hands down. Yes, it's incredibly strong, as you would expect. But what really impresses me is the quality of the weave. The outer jacket is a much tighter weave than typical, resulting in a smoother and denser finish. It makes the outside smooth and easy to work with, and I'm sure is partially responsible for the overall strength.

You can easily see this cord is different--not heavy, not thick, just made better. It's amazing that they get so much more strength without increasing the thickness. You'll see it immediately the first time you look at the cord. It's quality.

Upon receiving this cord, I began putting it to various uses around the house and garden areas. This cord is fantastic! To be so thin yet so strong! Good to 850 lb load! That is impressive. Additionally, it can be cut but will tend to fray slightly. There are unlimited uses for this fine Paracord made here in the USA, and is great to look at too! Fine quality and highly recommended!

I have 550, 750, and this 850 cord. The 550 has seven double inner cords. The 850 has eight double inner cords. Otherwise, they are identical. It seems to me that the extra double inner cord would give this "850" cord a strength of about 630 lbs. On the other hand, my 750 cord has eleven double inner cords. This, it seems to me, should give it a strength of more like 860 lbs.

Unless someone convinces me that fewer inner cords actually makes a product stronger rather than weaker, and unless somebody chokes up the actual, independent laboratory testing that proves a product's strength, I'm not buying that this will hold 850 lbs. Indeed, if I were to be thrown off of a building, I'd grab the 750 cord to save me before I'd grab this supposedly "850" stuff. I'm sure this cord is great for all kinds of stuff, I just object to the 850 claim.

I wanted paracord just to keep in my trunk for an "INCASE" situation. Well since I have had this, I have had two times to use it. Once I purchased something far too big to fit inside my car or in the trunk, but with this cord I was able to tie it down and get it home safely! The second thing that happened is, I had to tie down a tarp on my shed roof due to water leaking in. This is some top quality cord, my neighbor was helping me tie the tarp down and he started making a bracelet out of it! He was asking where I received it from as it was top notch material and extremely strong. Of course after he finished all his knots and bracelet I wrote down all the information and when I wrote 850lb he second guessed me and I had to pull out my phone and show him on Amazon. He was very impressed at the quality and cost of the paracord and stated he would let others know about Lifesavertools! I received this product in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

I am an avid camper so I always have some paracord on hand with is. So when I was asked if I wanted to try out the lifesavertools paracord 850lb in exchange for honest and unbiased opinion I agreed. The first thing I noticed when the paracord arrived was how smooth and slender it was. This is appealing to me because when I go camping I am trying to cut down on bulk. As a camper there are so many uses for paracord. I can use this to help secure my tent, as a clothes line, or when we are hiking down steep hills as a safety line. As a camper the uses for this paracord are endless. But one word of advise - if you are new to using paracord be sure to melt the ends otherwise you will have fraying. I gave the lifesavertools paracord 850 lb a 5 star review because it was sleek and thin, can hold an extreme amount of weight (i highly doubt I will ever test the 850 lb limit) and for how versatile it is.

I have found so many uses for the paracord. With 100 feet included, it is going to last me a while. Seems extremely strong and high quality. I really appreciate the photo included above has the different types of knots demonstrated. My paracord came in the bundled form pictured not the spool shown in the other photos. My husband uses it on his boat and trailer to tie things down. So very handy to keep around the house and yard.

I have not tested it to climb mountains as of yet but this seems like a good rope . But you can use in mean time for making great looking and long lasting shoelaces, camping line etc. I used it for multiple uses and found myself using it for everything with only a few days use of having I highly recommend keeping some in your emergency kit, your car and anywhere else you may find yourself needing it at some future point. This stuff doesn't rot, so it will be there when you need it. I have used paracord in past too you never own enough for many applications: making a rifle sling, improvising a stretcher, making rafts, building shelters, field dressing game, etc. I would rate this paracord as a 'full confidence' addition to my kit, meaning the paracord can be relied on to perform tasks within the parameters courtesy of KMR enterprises
