5.0 out of 5 stars A great basic guide to the principles of being a moral warrior., December 8, 2010
This review is from: Paradigm of the Moral Warrior (Paperback)
This book has not been widely distributed but is an excellent text on the basic principles and philosophy of the warrior. The endorsement and introduction is by Lt. Col. David Grossman, a highly respected expert whose two books (On Killing and On Combat) are MUST reading for military and law enforcement officers. The authors of this book are also well-known and respected law enforcement officers and trainers.

Anyone who is interested in the principles and values it takes to be a moral warrior will love this book. The eighteen chapters cover the basic requirements needed to understand the mind of the warrior. Chapter one explains the role violence plays in a warrior's mind-set. In spite of what many people believe, the moral warrior does not necessarily like violence, but realizes it is something he is prepared to engage in when needed. The second chapter covers the importance of training in a warrior's life and how a lifetime of commitment is what separates the warrior from the average person.

Other chapters include the warrior and prejudice, integrity, honesty, morality, courage, leadership, professional standards, courtesy, criticism, and numerous other principles that warriors should follow.

In conclusion, this is a book that will be of interest to martial artists, military people and law enforcement officers.

Rating: 5 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: Predator Hunter: A Warrior's Memoir)
