Had been checking out many other systems for about 6mo.but none sounded as good as the Paradigm .
Hook up was easy ,i used the optical cable but tried all inputs and they sound great also.Bass box was so easy to sync to system and does a super job after level is adjusted.
The only thing i dont like about sound bars (and this might not inclued all or just some) is there doesnt seem to be a tv mounting system(so i made my own),but my tv is mounted on a swivel arm system and not just against the wall.
Best of the Best!!!!!!!!!!!

Bought the Soundtrack when the price dipped to $649. It arrived in a huge box (similar to a big flat screen TV) with excellent packaging. Set up was quick and easy (other than trying to "sneak fit" the optical cable behind the back of an already hung flat screen). My TV sound was instantly improved, although I had to move the wireless sub so that it was parallel to the flat screen to minimize "boominess" and improve sound coordination (based on a recommendation I found on an online AV forum). If your room layout or budget does not permit a full surround system with separate receiver, then this is a really good option. But, it won't do "surround". To me, the Soundrack is best when watching movies and "pretty good" for listening to music. Listening to I-Tunes Radio via Apple TV, I seem to get the best sound quality when listening to harder edged rock or metal. By comparison, some detail seems to be lacking when listening to acoustic-guitar based music. I have a pair of Audio Pro LV2 active (desktop) speakers that sound noticeably warmer and responsive with acoustic-based music when played in the same room. [I realize that the Audio Pros are different animals, but they are in the same price range and I use both for accessing music via I-Tunes]. Lastly, the enclosed remote control stopped working after 1 week. Amazon refunded the price of replacing the battery, but the volume + button stopped working. The problem was easily resolved with a call to Paradigm tech support (calling is much more effective than e-mailing). Other than set-up instructions, the manual is not helpful for these troubleshooting issues. Hold the volume + button down on the soundbar until the blue light flashes and then hit the volume + button on the remote.Read more ›

Having owned a pretty decent 5.1 system I didn't expect a lot of wow from this sound bar and I was right, it doesn't measure up to the audio realism of a good fully fledged home theater set up. However it is a considerable improvement to the audio quality you'll get from televisions. While you won't be surrounded in sound, dialogue is far clearer, even at low volumes, and the sound effects are more lifelike. I like the wireless subwoofer, particularly for the multiple placement options it gives me. Though my walls no longer shake from explosions, there is more than enough lower extension, I feel, for most tastes. Just to see if I could, I connected the subwoofer from my previous set up and my walls again trembled from the very low frequencies that it produced; so you also have that option. Another thing I like about this sound bar is that it is very musical. I now find myself listening music channels more than ever before. Because I purchased the Paradigm Soundtrack at an excellent price, it gets five stars from me, but even at full retail price its deserving of a solid four star rating.

Disappointed with Paradigm with this product! I'm a big fan of their products, but this is definitely not up to par. Not the premium sound I was expecting with other Paradigm products I've purchased. Hope the newer versions have improved!
