5.0 out of 5 stars Fountain light
This was a replacement light for my outside fountain. Since the electrical cord was already run to the timer box, I was able to cut the cord at the light fixture and spliced it to the cord that was already run. I used underwater sealant to splice the cord and the light works perfect!! I am satisfied with the purchase, and the price was excellent!

3.0 out of 5 stars floats !
You'd think they would use metal for the base to keep it submerged, but it is just a plastic ring. Had to weight it down to keep from floating. Other than that, it works well/

My old submersible pond lights are deteriorating, as water has seeped into the housings over the years and corroded the connection pieces where the bulbs plug in. Although that connecter is removable, I've found it impossible to buy only that piece without having to purchase a completely new light. I was determined to save some money, so ordered just one of these from Amazon (& this great seller) to test the product before buying more. Well, I was not dissappointed. They are a quality light. Unlike my old metal ones, these are made out of a durable plastic, with a glass lens and are definitely watertight. Since I cand buy 2-3 of these lights for what my local big box hardware store charges, I will definitely be purchasing several more to replace all my lights. Thanks!

I bought 2 of these for fountains and they both leak badly. Both are full of water within a day or two. I have tried everything to seal them and nothing works.
