First off, I was hesitant to buy these because there weren't many reviews. The Malibu lights got good reviews, but I wasn't incredibly impressed seeing them in person at Home Depot. But I liked the look of these so went for it. I am very pleased with them. They are VERY sturdy. They're aluminum, but feel thick and heavy enough to think they're steel. The glass is bubbled so it has a nice look. The halogen bulb in the middle is covered by a smaller frosted glass part so it looks nice lit up. Coming from solar lights, I was afraid these may not be bright enough, but they are plenty bright for my path and driveway --- all 500 feet of it.

They're machined very well. Out of 18 of these, not a single one had problems. All parts were easily fit together. No glass was broken. All bulbs worked. The lids also have these stoppers built in so that you just turn the top and it stops where the screws line up. Hand screws. Very nice when you're assembling a lot of these. The stake you put into the ground is solid --- no way you'll bend it. And its about 7-8 inches long. The poles are also very sturdy and feel more like a steel pipe. They're thick enough not to get bent if you hit it with the mower. The wiring clips are super easy to use. There are drain holes so no water will accumulate.

I also got the Paradise spots and the 600W transformer, and very pleased with everything.
