Editorial Reviews

On this segment of our video series, we take you to American Samoa. We feature the story of one corageous family there that would not permit the LDS Church to take away their land which had been in their family for generations. They fought a court battle with the Mormons for many years to stop this intimidation and won. You will hear the story of a brave high chief who had enough and decided that the Church would not exploit his family any more.

As you hear the next part of our story, you will want to make sure that you will want to know where your children are at all times, especially if there is a Mormon Church nearby. One lady in the Cook Islands became very upset when they baptized her underaged children as Mormons , even though she told them not to do it. You will hear her say that she believes that Church officials were totally dishonest in dealing with her kids by making them outrageous promises that they could never keep. The promises were made only for one reason--to convert them to membership in the Mormon Church. You will learn about all of her struggles and how she was successful in reversing the baptisms although it was very difficult and the odds were against her. This is proof that it is possible to stand up against the Mormon Church and win! However, another mother in the Cook Islands didn't do so well. Her young daughter, whom they coerced into getting baptized as a Mormon, decided to stay in the Church although her family pleaded with her not to do it. This is a saga of one mother's heartbreak!

Because of their enormous missionary zeal, the Mormon Church today exports more missionaries to the South Seas than they receive in countries such as Tonga and others. Despite this fact, the King of Tonga, who is a steadfast Christian, tells us what he thinks of the LDS Church and you won't believe some of his comments.

This video is a real lesson on how to protect yourselves from these people who would try and steal the souls of your children right under your nose. Learn the lessons well! It could happen to your family.

My experience living in and working in the islands of Samoa gave me great insight into the significant role religion plays in the Samoan culture. There is by no means any major animosity toward the Mormon's. Speaking with Catholics (Kataliko), Methodists (Metitiso), London Missionary Society (LMS), and the Mormons all of them seem to be in agreement that the Mormons are most fair.

The leaders of the first 3 religious groups were given land by chiefs. Generations later that land is rented back to the villagers to live on. Those renting the land are required to attend the church of the parish. The Mormons arrived much later and purchased land, which when not in use is allowed to be used by local villagers to live on rent free.

This is a good video for those looking for a propaganda to use against the Mormons.
