This truely was a great read...it held my interest from start to finish. It was well worth the hours of sleep I lost:)...i couldnt put it down! The author's superb descriptive ability had me identifying with the characters and gritting my teeth as the plot intensified...There were many unexpected twists and turns along the way; i enjoyed the way he switched among the different character stories to hold the readers interest...the plot was intricate yet surprisingly cohesive, with the characters all being interconnected...it came together beautifully at the end...I would highly recommend this to any reader! I look forward to reading another novel of his hopefully soon!!

Frank is a natural writer who has done his research. The subject is timely, even today. The characters became your friends. I wanted to high-five them throughout the book, but stayed on the edge of my seat with unexpected twists and turns. I hope Mr. Jakobs continues on with a series. His character development easily supports it. He could give Clive Cussler a run for his money. BRAVO!

This is a good read.....provocative, timely in plot

and quantative in substance. The characters are thrown

into mayhem, while relying soley on eachother to

persevere through their unbreakable bonds of love and

friendship. Appropriately written in this perilous age

of terrorism, this book will take you around the world

and back, on a wild ride of twists and turns that will

leave you in stitches along the way. Two thumbs up Mr.

Jakobs, WAY up! I highly recommend taking this

literary vacation........to Paradise.

This book was a great read with an unpredictable plot and interesting, well developed characters. I particularly liked how the author tells the story from the perspectives of multiple characters at the same time. He effectively lets you into the minds of the key players as he takes you from suspense to exhilaration and to laughter. It's smartly written, a timely topic, and keeps you interested from start to finish!

What an absolutely entrancing thriller. Be warned; once a reader starts this intense novel it is difficult to put down. The twist and turns of the plot keep the reader on edge for the books entirety. Paradise is filled with great characters that from their introduction become very tangible in the audience mind. The `book description' dose not begin to do this artistic piece justice.
