4.0 out of 5 stars great strategy game
this is a great game hands down. if you want flashy graphics or some game you can beat in an hour dont bother with this game. it is made by the same guys who made the Hearts of Iron series, and it is just wonderful. you can play anywhere in medieval europe or the middle east/north africa and make your way from a lowly duke to king of the world.

3.0 out of 5 stars Addictive
5/5 stars for the theme - minus 2 stars for crashing my computer twice!
I was using Windows XP and have since uninstalled it.

When I was lucky to play this for a while, I found it fun
and addictive.

it does require some time to do this, and it also depends a lot on managing your family. i had several games where my heir was a joke, and he had to go fight some hopeless battle so his brother could inherit. thats just one of the many small nuances to this game. it requires you to think and plan before you randomly attack everyone. you have to manage your people, the pope (if catholic) and most importantly your family. just because you gave your nephew a lot of land doesnt mean he wont rebel if given the chance.
more than worth 2.99 so check it out and have fun.

If only there is a easy-to-use large global or regional map overview

you'd have to spend time dragging your mouse across the screen
to find what you want. Time spent doing that is time less spent
on the front.
