About the Author
Terry L. White is an award-winning journalist and writer who brings the Eastern Shore of Maryland to life in her work. Most recently, she published a six-book set of novels focused on the rich history of the Delmarva Peninsula; and the nonfiction pictorial history: A Dorchester County Scrapbook: That Reminds Me of a Story with A. M. Foley. A novelist with more than 20 volumes published to date, Ms. White has also written two books of poetry. Her first volume, RUNAWAY HEARTS, addresses the stories of trappers, watermen, and the Underground Railroad’s Harriet Tubman—all of whom lived on the Delmarva Peninsula. RUNAWAY HEARTS was recently selected to be read on Radio for the Blind in New Orleans. She lives in Cambridge with her cat Shadow.
