We received the (100) bulk ear candles almost immediately after the order was placed and paid for -- packed well (no breakage, crushing or denting). The canister protects the candles once you take them out of the box -- stack them by laying the cannister on its side, or angled up, then instert the candles neatly until the cannister is full. You would think that the candles should be inserted wide end in first so that when you stand the cannister up, the narrow end does not get crushed -- the candles are not heavy enough to crush the narrow end tip. Also, when removing the candles, you would want to handle the end that does not go into the ear. The candle burns clean. You may want to use a felt-tip marker to draw a line around the candle so that when the flame reaches it, it's your signal to douse the candle. For a good seal in the ear canal, you can moisten the outside of the candle tip with water or rub a little mineral oil on it (DO NOT dip in water or oil or it will drip into the ear). A good, easy seal helps because you do not have to press the candle hard into the ear to make the seal, i.e., less discomfort and fatigue. I would buy bulk, again, from the same vendor.
