Backup of XP and Windows 7 on a dual boot,

I migrate slowly from one Windows OS to another. I skipped Vista altogether except for a test PC. Drive Image 7.0 served me flawlessly for years with XP but doesn't work with some of the newer file system things in Win7. This software had good reviews and features and I tested it on multiple PCs and laptops. It always fails to backup the XP partition from Win7 due to shadow service errors (tied both types) but will backup the Win7 partition and boot info on the XP partition OK. I'll just keep using Drive Image for the XP until I no longer need it.
