A lot of reviews have said how disappointing this cd is. Well, its not for adults, its for the children. I love to sit with my daughter and listen to the songs sung very well by these other children. It's very well done and allows us both to listen to something we like, and get her started into the parrothead life at a young age. This is a great present to buy yourself and your child or if you know a parrothead with children. What a fabulous idea to have kids sing these songs, it's excellent.

I found this at first to be disappointing...kids singing Buffett. What gives? Why not Mr. Buffett himself? No warning on the label, nothing. Then, as I gave it to my singing 3 year old niece (to start her off right), it was a big hit. She asks constantly "Mommy, can we listen to Jimmy." Kids singing to kids, even though its to Buffett makes it what it really is, a great kids album. With 16 nieces/nephews, I'm only disappointed I couldn't buy it for more of them in their "formidable music years." Parakeets have been born in my family with the help of this music collection.

It's great to find some kids music that doesn't grate on the parent's nerves. The kids have wonderful voices and the music is quite refreshing. I've heard it over and over and haven't gotten tired of it yet. My 2-year old listens to it every night before she goes to sleep.

On my first listen to this CD, I could not believe that someone would ruin a Buffett song on purpose! I figured I had wasted my money. I took it home and put in the CD player, my 12 month old LOVED it! She was bopping up and down and clapping to the songs! If she is happy with it, I can be too! Well worth the money for a small child, but a true parrothead will not enjoy it!

With all due respect to those adults writing negative reviews, give me a break! This is a children's CD. My daughter Emily 8, loves "Delaney Talks To Statues." And by the way every adult I know who has listened to it has enjoyed it also. These songs are sung by children with lyrics sensitively change where appropriate for children. I think it is very well done and the children sound magnificent! It's refreshing and one of life's real joys to hear children sing - and these kids can sing! Nice work.

My 3 year old daughter loves this CD and I find myself singing along with her. She puts on her Hula skirt and dances away to the songs sung by other kids. We highly reccomend this CD to all of you out there with kids or a perfect gift for a child as well. We're going to buy this CD and give it to kids at her 4th Birthday Party.

This is the greatest CD for kids. I have recommended it a thousand times! My boys ask for it whenever we are in the car and argue over who gets to pick their song first! Even their friends ask me to play it when they are in my car. This is not just for 2 year olds. My 9 year old still loves it. We have listened to it so many times that the whole family knows every word by heart. Grab this one!

Needless to say, "Why Don't We Get Drunk and Screw" is not included in this collection of Jimmy's songs sung by kids. I personally found the voices a bit annoying, but my 4-year-old daughter and her cousin both love it. Great for parrotheads who are raising little Buffett fans, but don't want their children hearing some of the more adult lyrics. Worth the money for Buffett fans with families

I am not a Parrothead, though I do like Buffet! My 6 and 3 year olds got this CD at the library and couldn't stop playing and dancing to it! I, for one, love the song "Little Miss Magic", sung by a little girl with so much heart and soul! My kids dance and sing the catchy lyrics to even catchier melodies. I have no problem hearing kids sing this beautifully composed arrangements. Buffet is a talented lyricist and caught a chord in the youngster generation (I've yet to see a child not come to life listening to this great music!)

I've mastered the art of turning down the volume or singing louder at appropriate times when playing Buffett CD's in the car. There are some songs my kids have never heard in their entirety. No need for that with this album. My kids love it and I'm thankful for that but after the third time I was ready to pitch this one out the window of Mom's van. If you've got little ones and they love Buffett, buy this one for them and play the real thing when you're by yourself.
