this book was nice to get you started with a parakeet, but I needed more information about behaviors after the first few weeks. It is very informative about the subjects included, but I think I will buy another book with more complete information.

I love these books. They are helpful and informative when you need a quick start-up lesson for a new pet. I have several of this brand...for hermit crab care, parakeet care, fish care, hamster care. Would recommend buying used. :)
