Secrets can kill. "Parallel Lies" tells the story of Yana Ivanova, a big Hollywood star with many things in the closet, including herself. When someone learns that her personal assistant is more than just a friend to her, she is dragged into a plot that is boiling with murder, blackmail, and trying to keep the truth under wraps for her career. A riveting thriller, "Parallel Lies" is a fun read for anyone, although it is aimed at Gay and Lesbian readers.

This was the most tedious book I have read in a long time. I forced myself to finish only because I spent the money to buy it. The plot dragged and left me resentful of the ending. The characters lacked depth and were stereotypical.
