Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

It is our honor to present Parallels, and exhibition featuring signature work and new projects by 5 contemporary artists who rank among Germany's finest since 1945. The titleof the exhibition, Parallels, expresses our interest in drawing lines of connection between two great cultural centers— Atlanta and Berlin— and two exceptional schools of art— ACA and HdK— located respectively. We hope to highlight the many points of commonality shared by our institutions and creative faculty, to emphasize institutional ideals and art-making practices that, while not exactly alike, carve similar paths.
