Wowww....All the first Legendary Stardust Cowboy singles released on Mercury in 1968, with the 3 unreleased 1968 tracks from the limited "Donna Plus Appolo" EP (originally released on the Italian Crazed Bop Records label), and to finish in beauty the Rock-it to Stardom album. All compiled together on the same CD. Includes a superb 35 pages booklet with many unreleased photos and documents, plus all lyrics of the songs. Unfortunatelly all the liners notes are in Japanese. Personally, I don't understand why this CD didn't released earlier in USA or in Europe. Highly recommended for all the Ledge fans !!!! (sorry if my english isn't perfect)

I'll always remember when I first saw Legendary Stardust Cowboy, on "Laugh-In". I thought it was a contrived one-off skit, unlike Tiny Tim, who appeared there a number of times and actually toured and cut records. LSC was performing "Paralyzed", which is noise. This CD shows that he later created listenable and often thoughtful numbers. There are many tracks (some on the short side) but most of the booklet's liner notes are for Asians only. All in all, for other collectors of novelty albums, this is a great asset. --Vince P.
