4.0 out of 5 stars Medic students who use this to supplement their knowledge
I found this book to be very easy to understand. I used this to supplement my Brady Paramedic text book.. I think that this book is clearer and in most cases just as informative as my Brady Text. For that reason, and the fact that this book is well organized, I would recommend it.

3.0 out of 5 stars okay if you need to review
This is the First A&P book I have tried to read, and it was recommended by one of my instructors as a good book to learn the material. I think this book is good for review, or as a guide to the material I should learn, but not a good learning tool for fist timers. This is the First A&P book I have tried to read, and it was recommended by one of my instructors as a good book to learn the material. I think this book is good for review, or as a guide to the material I should learn, but not a good learning tool for fist timers. I have found myself reading very dense paragraphs of information, and then looking up the terms on line to learn them and understand the concepts. In short good review, but not good if this is all you have to learn from.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun to Read, December 31, 2005

So often you have to drag yourself to the book when studying Anatomy. This one is so well written and illustrated; it is actually fun to read. Not too much detail to get lost, but certainly enough to cover all the main points. If you want to dig down into further detail on anything, I recommend "Atlas of Human Anatomy" by Frank H. Netter, MD.

5.0 out of 5 stars FANTASTIC TEXT, November 29, 2005
By
This review is from: Paramedic: Anatomy & Physiology (Paperback)
The pictures are what I found most intriguing about this text.
The anatomy & physiology topics were also critical in my studies. This book ranks high with:
(Human Antatony & physiology) by Elaine N. Marieh. This text gave a lot of information from another perspective.

(KEY FACTS FOR ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY) by Patrick Leonardi. This was right to the point. Less complex to read. Extremely helpful to study for exams.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good basic, second opinion, November 29, 2010

This review is from: Paramedic: Anatomy & Physiology (Paperback)
Nothing too special, its def not the most in depth but it covers some good topics and serves as a good second opinion if you cant understand what other books say..

if the price is reasonable, theres no harm in purchasing something that may help you understand it in another way and also serves as a good review book that doesnt weigh 10 lbs
