This is one of the few paramedic textbooks that I really enjoy. [...] Even though it is almost ten years old, the section of the text that reviews each major complaint is still one of the best around. There was a lot of other information that was put into the book - I guess so that it was a 'complete' paramedic textbook - that was only 'OK'. If you're studying to be a paramedic, or if you're an experienced medic looking for a good review of working through a differential diagnosis - this is a good text (and cheap now, too).
It would be nice to see the authors ditch the other stuff and just reissue the Major Complaints review as a new, updated text. |
