5.0 out of 5 stars Paranormal Ireland, September 3, 2007
This review is from: Paranormal Ireland (Hardcover)
A very interesting read for anyone with a fascination with ghosts, fairies, banshees, or UFO's. It includes 21 short stories consisting of paranormal activity. Each intriguing tale was more exciting than the last.

I bought the book before visiting the beautiful country, but only got to the second story. After returning home I read the third story, "Heart of Darkness," which tells the tale of one of the most haunted castles in Ireland. I had just visited the very same castle in Ireland.

Charleville Castle sits at the end of a mile long walk through an enchanting forest. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable of the castle since he had lived there himself about seventeen or eighteen years. He told us of the great tragedy of little Harriet Hugh Edel, who fell to her death at the end of the stairwell on the second floor. The castle is said to be haunted by the little girl. "Heart of Darkness" tells the story of such hauntings experienced first hand by the castle's current owner Bridget Vance.
