The list author says: "I read the following books because they were recommended to me one way or another. I found that they fell flat. I created this list to help others avoid my mistakes! Some of us don't have time to waste our time reading mediocre books."
"This book is predictable from the start and holds the readers hand the entire time. The author doesn't make you feel things from the perspective of Jane, and instead just tells us, she was scared, happy, sad, confused, etc. Hard to embrace, skip it."
"Avoid this whole series. What a waste. The first few books suck you in, until you realize that each books spans about 3 weeks of time. This is one giant soap opera of love triangles, bad guy / good guy, teenage drama, and randome references to pop culture. Definitely not worth your time or money."
"In all fairness, this thrilogy was OK. I read all three books and they were pretty interesting. But they are defintely young adult, and maybe even pre-teen level reading. Content is more along the lines of older kids. But these are short simple books, so don't expect anything too exciting."
"Great cover, not so great content. This is your typical teens sneak around to do, um research? yes. No daring action or twisted mystery, that is until the last few pages, where they set the story up for the next book. Skip it."
