This darling ant moat for hummingbird feeders doubles as a bird bath and drinking source for chickadees, goldfinches, bushtits, etc. It is perfect and adorable. Unfortunately, I think the manufacturer is not making them anymore?

These are a LOT heavier and solid than I expected when I ordered. They are sitting under the tree for my husband's grandmother!

I needed something to keep the ants away, and this does the job perfectly. I purchased two different brands, one a plastic one and this one. This is made of metal and resembles an upside down umbrella. I think over time a plastic one will hold up better as this one already has shown signs of water calcification or salt spots from the water evaporating, but since the metal is painted, I don't think rusting will be an issue. Only time will tell, though. Overall, a great product, and beautifully designed. The large hooks make hanging it and the hummingbird feeder a cinch.
