An amazing insite into the mind of the pre-teen girl!!!,

This book provided a road map for me to make my daughter aware of physical changes her body will go through and also the way society will precieve her once the "outward" signs of her sexuality become evident. Forwarned is forarmed, and that goes for the both of us. When she got her period about two weeks ago it was cause for celebration. She understands how her body is changing and looks forward to it. With the help of the book she also understands why some people, particularly boys will treat her differently, and she is prepared to handle that too. I realize just how important it is to keep her open and talking because the book explained all of the reasons why young girls shut down. I did the exact same thing at her age and I won't let it happen to her. Thanks so much for a wonderful book. I have recommended it to everyone I know who is the parent of a "Tweenager."
