I have been a Goldsmith fan for approxiamately a year and I can most definitely say that out of the books I've read so far...this is one of his "better" ones. Each chapter brings a deeper level of understanding for Metaphysical aficionados and Truth students. This book will definitely increase one's sense of peace,inner-knowing, and joy. It is a must read for those seeking to improve the quality of their lives and it is priceless!

If you are blessed to have found Goldsmith, (its a soulmaturity thing), and have enough background in him to be ready for his best work...then read this. You can see the echoes of his other books in many pages, but whereas some of the earlier ones took 8 pages to say it, now it is told in 8 pithy words...brilliant, aha concepts jump off the page and directly into your heart. If I could only have one spiritual book on my shelf, this would be it.

It is Joel at his most developed level as spiritual teacher,
By A Customer
This review is from: A Parenthesis in Eternity: Living the Mystical Life (Paperback)
Joel tackles many of his favorite subjects here, including the illusion of what we seem to experience between cradle & grave, (the parenthesis) the allness of consciousness, the understanding of the I Am, and most importantly the differences between the spiritual and the mental. He again works his recurring theme of realization through meditation that "the father and I are one." This one should be read after The Infinite Way, Thunder of Silence, Practicing the Presence, Art of Meditation, and perhaps some of his other books

Joel Goldsmith's Spiritual Autobiography,
By A Customer
This review is from: A Parenthesis in Eternity: Living the Mystical Life (Paperback)
All students should read this book. Mr. Goldsmith considered this book his autobiography. The text comes from taped lectures Joel Goldsmith gave around the world, now available through the Infinite Way office in Perris, California. Particularly helpful are the chapters on the stages of spiritual development in the middle of the book. Be sure to read them.Visit the Infinite Way web site and find more resources for your study.

The mountaintop of spirituality,

40 years after reading this book for the first time, I can read it again and still be amazed and astounded by the spiritual insight it contains. In consciousness it does not matter when something was first written -- it is the insight written on the pages that matters. You will be blessed to read the pages of this book.

THE best book.,

I have read several of Joel Goldsmith's books before I read this one, but who could assimilate all that stuff in mere months? This book took me by surprise. It was bam bam bam, pearls everywhere, on every single page! To date, this is still THE best book I've ever read, whether by Joel or not, but then again, that's not a fair comparison. I am so blessed to have come upon this work.

Have to agree with another reviewer: if I could only have one book devoted to spiritual seeking, it would clearly be this one. Enjoy reading thoughts and teachings from different perspectives. But when it seems there is too much to digest or the thoughts begin to get 'muddy', I always return to Joel's writings. I probably have all of them. Consider Parenthesis in Eternity his finest work. Doesn't seem to matter how many times I have read it. There are always new insights/pearls. A gift to the reader.

This book motivated me,

I was skeptical about reading this book based on the first few pages. As I went further, I found Goldsmith's writing to be full of conviction and motivating. I will try meditation as a result of reading the book. Goldsmith frequently repeats points made earlier but with another twist. This is good because it is an aid in remembering the points that he makes.
