This book was the most practical guide to managing children's behavior ever! I have an 8-year old son with high-functioning autism and a 6-year old neurotypical daughter. I received as much information about helping to get my daughter to stay in her bed at night and to get ready more quickly and willingly in the morning as I did dealing with my son's behavior issues. A great big "thank you" to the authors, both of whom obviously have experience not just as behavior professionals but as parents as well.

This book gives both theory and step-by-step practical elements to guide the parent toward identifying and resolving difficult behavior. So glad I read it and have shared with other parents what a wonderful tool it is. PBS works!

this book is an excellent way to bring home the principles of Positive Behavior Support! It helps parents/Caregivers to look at behavior more objectively and plan ways to effectively address problem behavior.
