Life needs a hand book. Being a parent really needs a hand book. Here is one that will open your eyes and really say it like it is. The world isn't sugar coated so the guidence shouldn't be either. Whether you have a challenging situation with your children or not, this book will be your best friend.

What a treasure this is. In looking over this book, I focused on one of the most controversial topics--that of sexuality. The author pinpointed the major questions, presented the major viewpoints, and then offered her own, well-thought-out conclusions. The roadmap she presents through this potential minefield is clear, yet comprehensive. It amazed me to read such practical "how-tos" about such a highly-charged topic--but then to see references embedded throughout.
Parenting by Strengths is sure to please the experts for its careful, well-researched counsel. More important to most of us, it equips the parents in the trenches with empowering and sound wisdom, of a kind that makes the reader feel competent, rather than overwhelmed.
