The book was informative and the advice was sensible. Of the many books Ive read or listened to on the subject, this and "divorce poison" get my highest recommendation.

I love this book. I have read it several times since receiving it. The advice it gives on how to talk with your partner in general, not just if you are going through a divorce, is well writen and easy to understand. Our marrage isn't perfect, and we don't plan on divorcing. I read this in mind that we might, and it really did help me understand the kids perspective. I have passed this book along to my friends who are going divorce and would recommend it to anyone who is going to start the journey of divorce. You OWE it to your childern to give them the best shot in becoming adults. You need to have this book as a guide for that journey. Two thumbs-ups to Lisa Rene Reynolds,PhD

This book is indeed useful. The author gives several tips on how to help with kids get through a divorce. In a strange way, it reminds me a lot of Kid-Friendly Ways To Change Behavior - Fun conflict Management Tactics For Parents (Conflicts and Negotiations series), just dealing with a different issue. All in all, Parenting through Divorce is in fact quite helpful. It should provide with enough information to help any child get through the issue of divorce. It can really be quite useful.
