About the Author

Linda Bizer, Ed.D., has worked with adolescents and their parents for more than ten years as a school psychologist, educator, trainer, and author. She has conducted extensive research in the areas of single parenting and discussed topics related to work and life issues, such as adolescents, testing, school performance, and college admission, on radio and television. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and her doctorate from the University of Massachusetts.
Geraldine Markel, Ph.D., has taught secondary students who have learning disabilities, attention deficit disorders, and/or emotional impairments. She also served as a faculty member in special education and was Director of High School and College Services at the Reading and Learning Skills Center at the University of Michigan. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

Geraldine Markel, Ph.D. is an eductional psychologist who is a coach, speaker, and author. She served as faculty in the School of Education, University of Michigan, and has coauthored four books on learning and performance for adults and adolescents with ADD and/or learning disabilities. She is the principal of Managing Your Mind Coaching & Seminars working with high achieving persons whose performance is suboptimized due to problems such as distraction, disorganization, and poor time management or memory.
