5.0 out of 5 stars Good Product
I bought this because I 2 year old kept opening the slider. This allows you to place it up high. You can open the door some to allow for ventilation if needed. I wouldn't use it for security but It is great for toddlers. And there is no adhesive and no screws involved. Once they learn not to open the door you can take it off.

3.0 out of 5 stars works fine, wish I knew it only came 1 to a box
Works great so far, but the description says "Child safety window stops" so I assumed there were at least 2 in the box. Disappointed to find only 1 in box plus box even says it recommends 2 per window.

4.0 out of 5 stars super stopper, June 28, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Good product. It is a little to easy to open the door right over it. However, it does stop my 3 year old from opening the sliding glass door too far. I think placing 2 of them will work a little better

5.0 out of 5 stars This works well...., March 20, 2007
This review is from: Parents Units Super Stopper for Windows and Doors (Baby Product)
We put this on our daughter's 2nd floor window in order to prevent her from climbing out and falling. It works fabulously. All you do is stick it to the window. We tried another window stop that we bought at babiesrus and to this day we cannot figure out how to make it work.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good for those mirror closet, May 28, 2006
This review is from: Parents Units Super Stopper for Windows and Doors (Baby Product)
I brought it when my baby starts to know how to open the closet. The suction is good and my baby now unable to open up the closet. I going to buy more for my other room.

2.0 out of 5 stars Box contains a single stopper, May 7, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The box contains a single stopper, but on the back of the package it is very clearly stated that they recommend two stoppers per window. This is sort of like selling a single sock in a package and noting on the back that you need two for a pair. I think it's misleading and should be very clear in the product description or better yet, should only be packaged in pairs. Be aware!

Yes, the (single) stopper will prevent the window from being raised, but it's ugly and I think it can be removed too easily by determined child.

4.0 out of 5 stars window guards, October 10, 2010

Works good. Gets knocked of easily when my husband forgets they are there and opens the windows. But I don't think my kids would be strong enough to knock them off if they tried to open the window.

5.0 out of 5 stars love this silly thing, November 4, 2009

i bought this very expensive suction cup to keep my kids in the house. i have a huge sliding glass door and there is no other way to childproof once they can unlock the doors. my kids are 4 and 3 and still have not figured this one out, as long as it is above thier reach. It has been banged, stepped on, chewed on, thrown by hubby (he hates it because he never remembers that it is there) and is still going strong. If you have kids who are older than child-proof age, but still too short to reach it, this is the product for you!

5.0 out of 5 stars window security stopper, June 28, 2009

Great for families with young children or concern about window access during summer months when windows are open. Easy to stick, stay in place and remove without damaging window or frames.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Effective!, October 15, 2008

This review is from: Parents Units Super Stopper for Windows and Doors (Baby Product)
I needed the Super Stopper right away so I couldn't order it online. I went to my local Babies R Us store and lucky for me they were on sale $5.50 each. I got 2 for my glass patio door. After the 5 second installation process I attempted to open my sliding glass door, it opens a wee-bit for ventilation (it's supposed to), but this opening is barely big enough to get your fingers thru it...I kept forcing it to open the back door and it DID NOT open! GREAT! Problem solved.
