Whether you're new to the field or are still uncomfortable with working with parents, this book will help tremendously. Canter gives specific examples of how to diffuse attacks from angry parents and how to help exasperated ones. Easy to read, this book presents some great ways to be sympathetic and understanding without losing your authority or your cool!
