I'm not a parent, nor am I a child. I'm 25. But I adore this show. I think it's clever, funny, and it sits perfectly on the line of being appropriate and going too far. Dan is the guy we all are deep in our heads when something goes wrong or we get annoyed. He's that guy who instinctively wants to get the guy who cut us in line, the noisy neighbors who just won't stop talking outside late at night, or in this episode's case, the gym tricking you into a year membership. He's that little voice in the back of our heads screaming "REVENGE!" and "I WILL MAKE YOU PAY FOR THIS!" even when we know we won't do it, or wouldn't even want to. He's that momentary flare up of anger and paranoia.
So in a way, as much as he is so far from who I am, he's easy to relate to.
Chris, Dan's too-nice best friend, and Elise, Chris' no-nonsense wife, are the voices of reason and foils to Dan's intense reactions to the world. It's fun to see how the three character interact.
More interesting than the premise is how all the characters are adults. Very seldom in a kid's show do you see a married couple that aren't the parents of the main characters. The main characters are all adults, one single, the others married. It's almost as though the show is treating its viewers as if they were able to relate to people who weren't children. I like that, because I think it's not impossible for a kid to relate to an adult character. And it's also nice for adults like me to have a fun show to watch where I can relate to the characters on that level too.
Overall, it's a great show for the whole family. There's enough antics for the kids and enough mature, clever humor to keep adults entertained too. All ages can enjoy it and I hope they do! I want a 3rd season!

Dan Vs. is one of the greatest shows I have ever laid my eyes on. Dan Vs. The Neighbors is only one of the many witty and hilarious episodes present in this silly cartoon. There are so many even better episodes! One of my favorites is Dan Vs. Family Thanksgiving as well as Dan Vs. The Family Camping Trip. I highly recommend purchasing at least a few episodes :)

Its odd that a show like this would be made, especially for kids. Its about an embittered little man who lets his anger control his life and vows vengeance for even the smallest of misdemeanors life has to offer. Such as traffic, the dmv, going to the dentist etc etc. Yet, he is usually right about whatever or whomever he claims is evil. And watching him extract his vengeance alongside his best friend Chris and his secret agent wife is always entertaining and hilarious. If you haven't seen the show, give it a watch and then raise your fists to the sky in anger and vow vengeance on Hub for cancelling such a great show.
