NOT made in china
I agree with Mr Lowell, great product. But he should have given 5 stars since the product and the seller are not the same. I would have given the seller 3 stars, but this canning jar deserves 5 stars. Unlike many similar items, this is actually airtight, and to me, that makes it worth every penny. Also, it's not made in china and is made of glass, which not only resists...

This jar is not air tight.
I am preserving lemons. The jar when turned upside down leaks. I tried replacing the seal. Same result. I can't imagine canning with these. I guess i will use them for dry products.

I agree with Mr Lowell, great product. But he should have given 5 stars since the product and the seller are not the same. I would have given the seller 3 stars, but this canning jar deserves 5 stars. Unlike many similar items, this is actually airtight, and to me, that makes it worth every penny. Also, it's not made in china and is made of glass, which not only resists chemical reactions but also allows the contents to be easily viewed.

Good jar for keeping dry goods in like spices and loose leaf teas. I like the design and the gasket to keep the jar tight. The pricing on Amazon though is quite high. I found this product at a local kitchen store for half of the price listed on here.

I use one of these to store brown sugar. The jar provides a simple yet completely effective air/water tight seal.

rip-off shipping!,

great produst but the shipping is outrageous....rip off for sure! and this is not a 6 pound jar, nor will shipping materials weigh that much.
