Chet baker plays standards in this wonderful mid-50s record, the best of the four released under the title "In Paris". He sings only in the last track, "Everything happens to me", a wonderful rendition. A good intro for new fans.

Perhaps one of his best recordings. The rhythm section is brilliant! While I enjoy his singing, he doesn't sing at all on this disc. It's just a really nice CD.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is the most amazing jazz cd ever., June 12, 2001

Chet in Paris, Vol. 2 is the most amazing jazz album ever. Although, I might be a little biased in that Chet Baker is my favorite jazz artist. But my parents used to play this album at home during dinner, and even now that I'm off at college, this album makes me think of them and home and just generally makes me feel good. If you're into jazz, especially jazz trumpet, you're going to love this.
