There are just so many photos! I manage to engrave a virtual map (with a bird's perspective) of Paris after reading the book several times. Although I have been to Paris, this book gives me even a better and more comprehensive experience of the beauty and elegance of the city. By viewing Paris from above, I cannot stop marveling at the genius (or brutality, depending on your taste) of Baron Georges-Eugène Haussmann.
