5.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Perfect Paris..., February 1, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Paris Hilton: 2005 Wall Calendar (Calendar)
Though, I haven't been very kind to Paris on the many other reviews I've written, I'm making an exception here. I have this calendar on my wall in my room, so I do like her. I think the lay outs of photographs are very beautiful and bright. To be quite truthful, I really hated her book. I like Paris and collect photos of her, but I would like her more without her book. The calendar is nice because you don't have to read absurd rules on how to be an "heiress" and how to act like one. So, if you want some pictures of her without her nonsense heiress opinions, buy this. I actually like January, June, October, and oh, December isn't bad either. The one with her sister is cool too. On the stand it says Lemonade $1500, no refills. Well, I thought that was funny. I'm a fifteen year old girl and I admire Paris, and will continue to. But here's a review of the months in her calendar.

January: One of my personal favorites. I like this picture. I think she's just too tan in normal life, but I like this pose.

February: I don't know. To me, it depicts her as most people think of her: spoiled. She is standing looking pretty, but with people handing her expensive jewelry and such. To me it just says spoiled Hilton who lives off her name.

March: I think this is funny. She's air drying her dresses on a clothes line and she actually looks normal in this photo.

April: I really don't like this picture. She laying in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. I think it's just kind of stupid to be honest.

May: I find this one cute. She's holding Tinkerbell and smiling as usual. She does look really nice. I'd like to have her wardrobe. Well, not all of it. She does wear some pretty revealing outfits, yet some aren't that bad.

June: My all time favorite. As a girl I have to laugh. It's just funny. Her and sister Nicky are in this one, setting up a fake lemonade stand, which sells one glass for $1500! Their home is in the background and it's huge! I think it has 40 rooms!

July: Again, this just depicts that rich spoiled girl again. She's in a Mercedes Convertible-her Mercedes Convertible. The One she just HAD to have. So, I'm not into this one.

August: This one might be flattering to a guy. She's in the bath tub with bubbles holding a rubber duck.

September: This one is cool. She looks very office like. She's sitting in front of a computer, which if you look closely, shows that she looked up photos of her own self!

October: Her looking very much like she's making a promotional for the simple life. She's sitting in hay. I must say her hair is cute, though. Wish I could do that to mine...

November: She's looking at herself in the mirror. She doesn't seem all that happy. It almost makes you wonder if she's ever really seen herself in the mirror before.

December: Well, it's the same exact picture as the cover as the calendar. God, I wonder how much that necklace cost...

This is a disappointing pictorial of Hilton. In it, she's posed for innocent enough looking pictures but judging by the look on her face she doesn't look too into the whole thing. She looks cute in March and August, but that's about it. I don't like how her hair is done. In most of the shots it's pulled back. She definitely looks better with it straight and hanging down. Paris has looked much better than in this poor showing. Better luck next year.

I purchased this as a gag gift for my brother-in-law. THe photography is great, the composition of the pictures is fine, blah blah blah.

It's Paris Hilton. It's a calendar. What's left to say? Fans of Ms. Hilton will probably love it; others will snicker derisively.
