I heard a track from this concert on my local npr station, the trumpet and sax solos were so hot I had to buy it immediately. Wow, this one really cooks - with tracks written and arranged by pianist Lalo Shifrin and played with reckless abandon by all! Dizzy put together a really sizzlin' combo and they don't disappoint even with the cooler tracks. This CD should be in your regular rotation. Get it now. The liner notes also have a lot of jazz history worth reading. Five big fat stars!
